Nikki + Jaye | A November Wedding at The Grand Bohemian Hotel

I met Nikki’s mom before Nikki and Jaye got engaged because she was my realtor and helped us build our new home.  I was thrilled to hear that her daughter got engaged and even more thrilled that we got the opportunity to work with them! 

Nikki and Jaye are a literal dream couple.  They are obviously gorgeous.  But they are also kind, thoughtful, and they are so. much. fun!  We laughed until my stomach hurt at basically every planning meeting.  All that joy definitely carried into their wedding day – it was one of the most fun wedding days I’ve ever seen!

Nikki has absolutely incredible style.  She described her style as traditional with a touch of edge – so fun!  We took that description and ran with it incorporating dark grays and a touch of black into the design. There were so many details we loved about this wedding day!  To name a few: the stunning invitation suite complete with vintage stamps, the beautiful flower packed arch that Nikki and Jaye became husband and wife under, the slate gray velvet that we incorporated throughout the reception in the lounge, the linens, and the place settings, and the incredible cigar and whiskey bar that Nikki surprised Jaye with.  Everything about their wedding was absolutely beautiful! 

But even more incredible than these details were the joy and special moments we got to witness throughout the day.  When I was pinning Jaye’s bout he was unusually quiet.  I asked him how he was doing, and he said, “I just can’t wait to see her.  I miss her.” It was one of the sweetest statements I’ve heard a groom say.  And after they saw each other, we literally couldn’t wipe the smiles of their faces for the rest of the day. It was such a perfect and joyful wedding day.

Nikki and Jaye (and Teresa!), it was an absolute dream to work with you on your big day.  We have no doubt that you two are going to do incredible things together in your marriage (and make the cutest babies ever!), and we so honored that we got to witness the start of your journey together.  Thank you, thank you for having us as a part of your big day – we love you guys!
