Emily + Justin | An Elegant Fall Wedding at Vestavia Country Club

The first time we chatted with Emily and Justin we knew they were going to be a dream to work with.  They loved each other, loved pretty details, and loved the thought of creating an incredible wedding weekend experience for their guests – basically the recipe for our dream clients.  Oh, and they also have incredible style!   

Emily and Justin met in school and made their way to Dallas, but wanted to plan their big day in Emily’s hometown – lucky us!  They wanted a classic wedding day filled with blues, lots of white flowers, gold accents, velvet textures, and some fun surprises!  Emily and Justin loved all the little details and put so much thought and attention to every single thing, and we couldn’t have loved the results more!

There were so many incredible details we loved about this day that I couldn’t possibly list them all.  But a few of our favorites: the incredible stationery suite featuring a beautiful watercolor, an amazing monogram and lots of beautiful blues; the stunning seating chart featuring my favorite mirror ever; the entire ceremony design bursting with enormous amounts of flowers; the unique reception floor plan showcasing end caps of incredible flowers; the stunning place settings…to name just a few! 

But this day was about so much more than the incredibly beautiful details. The way that Emily and Justin looked at each other took our breath away.  Justin was so extremely worried about every single detail being perfect…because he knew his bride had dreamed of this day for so long. He wanted their big day to be everything she ever dreamed of. 

Several years ago Emily’s father had an unexpected accident that left him paralyzed from the neck down. Emily wasn’t sure if he would even be able to come to her wedding, but he made it!  When her father saw her for the first time he said, “I’ve prayed for this day your entire life.”  It was a moment I will never, ever forget.  Seeing her father escort her down the aisle was one of the most beautiful moments I’ve ever seen on a wedding day.  This wedding day was an incredible reminder of how lucky we are that we get to see such special moments on the most important days of our client’s wedding days.  And we are so, so thankful.

Emily and Justin, it was an absolute dream to work with you two!  Your wedding day is one that we will never, ever forget.  Thank you for inviting us to plan such a special day with you!  We have no doubt you guys are going to do incredible things together in your marriage and we can’t wait to cheer you on.  We love the Wallaces!
