Katie + Tyler | Faith Presbyterian Church + Vestavia Country Club

 

When we first met with Katie and her sweet mom, we knew that she had to be a Becky’s Bride! We immediately hit it off with them and jumped right into the planning process. Katie was without a doubt one of the most decisive brides we’ve ever had! We would pitch ideas and she would trust us to run with it. From the moment we walked into the doors on their wedding day to sending them off as husband and wife, we couldn’t have imagined a better day for these two. Katie and Tyler shared a beautiful (and very chilly!) wedding day this past October and we’re so excited to share every perfect moment with you.

One of the most special moments of the entire day was when Katie had her first look with her dad in their family home. His reaction was priceless, and to be honest, there was not a dry eye in the room as Katie’s mom teared up as she watched on. These are the moments we truly remember why we adore our jobs so much!

As an ode to the fall colors, Katie chose a gorgeous burgundy color for her maids and we loved how all of these colors came together and made such a beautiful, cohesive color scheme! Also, HotHouse Design Studio knocked it out of the park, as usual!

Katie and Tyler are clearly so happy together and their first look was nothing less than perfect. Tyler was so excited to finally marry Katie! We adored getting to spend the day with them! You couldn’t wipe the smiles off their faces the entire day! Gosh, we love their love.

Katie’s style was timeless and classic. She disclosed to us very early on that she wasn’t much of a flower loving girl, so we incorporated a lot of candles and candelabras to be sure the florals weren’t overpowering her overall vision! Like I mentioned earlier, Katie was a VERY laid back bride who trusted us every step of the way. She was quick to choose her colors, florals and attire for her and her bridal party! Honestly, Katie was a dream bride and planning her wedding was beyond fun! One element she knew she had to have at her reception was a show-stopping, floor to ceiling champagne display and Prophouse definitely did not disappoint.

Katie and Tyler, thank you two for allowing us to be a part of your amazing big day! We hope your marriage is as fun and beautiful as your wedding day was. Best wishes for a lifetime full of love and lots of laughter!
