Gabrielle + Matt | Real Wedding | Aldridge Gardens | Hoover, Alabama

Gabrielle and her family is INCREDIBLY special to us. In 2012 we sent Gabrielle’s sister, Kimberly down the aisle, in 2016 we sent her sister, Caroline down the aisle, and this year we were so honored to work with Gabrielle and send her down the aisle.  There are absolutely no words to describe how special these sisters and their mother are to us.  It was an incredible honor for us to be able to celebrate such a special day with this family for the THIRD time!

Both Kimberly and Caroline had Summer weddings with lots of pinks and bright and airy photos, which we love so much!  But Gabrielle’s style and personality is very different from her sisters, so we were excited to work with her to plan something completely different: a Fall wedding with grays, hunter green and lilac and gold accents.  We couldn’t be happier with how everything turned out!

Gabrielle’s mom has incredible style, and both of Gabrielle’s sisters had incredibly beautiful and unique weddings and we knew that Gabrielle’s would be no different!  While we have had quite a few weddings at Aldridge Gardens, we knew that we wanted to design something out of the box for Gabrielle and Matt – something completely unique and special to them.  The design of their wedding really started with the unique floor plan design – the center of the pavilion featured a large head table in the form of an X with four 8 foot long tables pushed together.  With a floor plan that unique, we really had to highlight how amazing it was – with a cluster of greenery chandeliers directly over the center of the head table.  It was absolutely one of my favorite floor plans to date.  Some of my other favorite design elements were the gray drapery at the entrance of the pavilion (a nice change from white or ivory!) and the amazing marble cake created by Barb’s Cakes complete with a stunning gray tulle table skirt and show stopping backdrop from HotHouse Design Studio.

Gabrielle and Matt, I can’t tell you how much I loved working with you to plan such a fabulous wedding day.  You made me feel like I was a part of your family, and your wedding day will always hold such an incredibly special place in my heart.  You two both have such amazing examples of what God intended marriage to be, and I am certain that we will be celebrating you two for decades to come.  I wish you many years of love and happiness to come!
