Jesica + Brett | A Rehearsal Dinner at Caliza Restaurant in Alys Beach

We LOVE when we get to work with our couples on their entire wedding weekend!  Alys Beach is one of our absolute favorite locations and it was incredible to be able to allow Jesica and Brett’s guests to see so many of the incredible spaces that Alys Beach offers by hosting several different events there.  Last week we shared about Jesica and Brett’s beautiful wedding day on the Gulf Green and Kelly Green (see all the fabulous details of their big day here).  But before their big day, their family and closest friends joined them to kick off the weekend at their rehearsal dinner at Caliza Restaurant at Alys Beach.  What a way to kick off the weekend!

Guests joined Jesica and Brett for delicious apps and amazing cocktails on the rooftop for cocktail hour, and then we transitioned downstairs for a beautiful seated dinner featuring filet and shrimp.  Their rehearsal dinner was beautiful, but still relaxed, inviting, and so much fun – a perfect reflection of our sweet couple’s personality.  Caliza was a perfect location for an intimate dinner.  We brought in neutral accents to not compete the with orange walls of the restaurant. The ghost chairs were a nod to the modern vibe we were going for, and I love the silk ribbon and wax seal details we accented the menus with!  We kept the florals low to create easy conversation, and the incredible florist accented the flowers with lots of beautiful glassware and candles.  Cost saving tip: when you have the same wedding planner and florist for your entire weekend sometimes you can use things twice, which is exactly what we were able to do with those flowers!
