Jesica + Brett | A February Wedding at Alys Beach

I met Jesica at a mutual friend’s party almost 10 years ago.  Since then she’s followed my work, and when she and Brett started ring shopping, she called me to plan their big day!  For over a year I got to plan with someone who felt like (and became) a dear sweet friend, and it was so special.  She knew she wanted to plan her wedding to take place at Alys Beach, and I couldn’t have been more excited to plan our first wedding there with her!

Jesica was such an incredible bride because she knew exactly what she liked and what she didn’t like.  We developed a modern beach theme, with a touch of glam and I seriously couldn’t have loved it more.  Jesica and Brett became husband and wife on the beautiful Gulf Green at Alys Beach.  I loved the clean ceremony design featuring ghost chairs, a rose petal filled aisle, stunning stair stepping altar arrangements – and my favorite – an adorable custom built champagne cart welcoming guests to the celebration.  After the ceremony guests made their way over to Kelly Green at Alys Beach to celebrate under a beautiful clear top tent filled with greenery and stunning crystal chandeliers.  A few of my favorite reception details included the unique acrylic guest tables, the beautiful patterned linens we used on the highboys, the amazing bar flanked with beautiful arrangements, and the incredible ice sculpture feature the monogram we used on all of the wedding stationery.

Jesica has a heart of gold and cares deeply about things that are special and meaningful.  She really focused on incorporating things into her big day that had so much sentiment.  A few favorites: the lace on the sleeves of her wedding dress was from her mom’s wedding dress; the champagne that she and Brett popped during their private meal was hand painted with details from their big day; her clutch was custom made to include pieces from her mom’s dress.  All of these details were so special and things she will be able to pass down to her children one day.

Jesica and Brett, it was an absolute honor to work with you on such an incredible day!  You guys made us feel like royalty and it was such a blessing to be able to work with someone who is so sweet and so kind. You guys are such a joy to be around, and it was amazing to see you finally celebrate your marriage with your family and closest friends. I know you two have amazing things in store for you and your marriage and I can’t wait to cheer you on!  Thank you for letting us celebrate your marriage with you!!
