On a gorgeous winter day, Alastair got down on one knee at the end of a candlelit aisle in a beautiful, historic chapel and asked Shannon to spend forever with him. The photos I saw from this proposal were some of the most romantic I’ve ever seen. During the planning process, I got to spend a lot of time with Shannon and Alastair. It amazing to see how their faces absolutely light up when they are with each other. Shannon started the day off at Embassy Suites with her mom and maids hanging out and getting beautiful with the help of Rawwbeauty and Jessica Lazarus, before moving on to the church for beautiful photos by Stacy Richardson photography. Shannon selected a beautiful lilac color pallet for her decor. She wanted a romantic and chic look for her wedding day. And boy, did Katie from Cloth of Gold deliver!
One thing that I thought was unique about Shannon and Alastair is that they wanted to put a lot of focus on their ceremony. So many times, couples tell me that they want a quick ceremony so they can get on to the celebration. Shannon and Alastair had a beautiful ceremony at First United Methodist Church celebrating their love and commitment to one another and for their creator. After a sweet and heartfelt ceremony, Shannon and Alastair and their guests headed to Bridgestreet Gallery and Loft for an amazing celebration with family and friends. Extraordinary lighting by Design Productions and more beautiful flowers by Cloth of Gold set the tone for a chic and fun reception. Delicious food from Echelon Catering and amazing cupcakes and bride’s cake from Dreamcakes made sure every guest left stuffed full of goodness! Lisa and the E-Lusion band kept the bride and groom and all of their guests on the dance floor all night long!
Shannon and Alastair, it was such an amazing pleasure to work with you and your families on planning such a special day in your lives! I wish you both a lifetime of joy and happiness together!
