Alex & Richard ~ The Wedding

The first thing I learned from Alex after our initial consultation was this: She. Has. Fabulous. Style. Alex had visions of a beautiful, southern, and classy wedding with a breathtaking outdoor ceremony and a fun and elegant reception – all with a little bit of bling.  What better place to choose for her wedding than the extraordinary Autumn Ridge! Alex chose a beautiful, ruffled strapless dress with a little bit of bling around the waist from Bridals by Lori in Atlanta.  For the ceremony she wore a cathedral length veil that was just breathtaking.

Alex had a clear vision of what she wanted her decor to be like, and Ricky Whitley completely delivered.  In keeping with “a little bit of bling” Alex decided to forgo a traditional bridal bouquet and instead carry a broach bouquet.  This bridal bouquet was the most beautiful broach bouquet I’ve ever seen – it was absolutely stunning. The ceremony was held outdoors, and it was an absolutely jaw-dropping setting.  Beautiful ivory chair covers and champagne sashes were provided by Decor to Adore.  Ricky draped the columns with an elegant  fabric and adorned them with gorgeous flowers.  But one of my absolute favorite parts was the stunning aisle design made completely of rose petals. Alex decided to forgo traditional programs which I’m seeing more and more these days.  So many brides are using chalkboards for their programs, which I absolutely love.  However, a chalkboard program didn’t really fit in with Alex’s decor.  So she put an elegant spin on the chalkboard program and instead used a gorgeous, gold, ornate mirror with beautiful gold writing for her program.  I loved how perfectly this fit in at Alex’s wedding, and I loved how unique it was

After a heartfelt ceremony, Alex’s guests were invited to an amazing reception to celebrate with the new Mr. and Mrs!  Beautiful satin linens and gorgeous flowers and candles set the stage for an intimate evening. One thing that was really important to Alex was to have a show stopper cake, and Sweet Spot Confections certainly delivered with this five tier beauty! Guests enjoyed delicious food from Happy Catering and wonderful entertainment provided by Just a Few Cats!  At the end of the night Alex and Richard treated their guests to a grand exit of fireworks before driving off in a fabulous vintage car from Coats Classic Cars.












Alex, you were such a beautiful bride and it was an absolute pleasure planning such a fabulous wedding with you!
