Real Wedding Series | Lindsey and Daniel

Real Weddings = Best Weddings.  Real wedding series are our favorite showcase at Becky’s Brides.  Real weddings are the reason we do what we do, and we absolutely LOVE what we do.
This week we are so excited to share with you a truly Southern, Rustic Chic wedding.  Meet Lindsey and Daniel.  Envisioning a “Rustic Chic” wedding, this phenomenal couple was not disappointed as they celebrated their May wedding at the gorgeous J&D Farms in  Southside, Alabama.  Special thanks to J&D Farms for sharing these beautiful memories with us.

Most brides have something special in mind (a “must have” if you will) of something their wedding absolutely, positively must have.  For Lindsey, this was her boots.  A true southern girl at heart, (because she knows that a great pair of shoes can make or break an outfit) Lindsey definitely had her priorities in line as her gorgeous cowboy boots were the first thing she picked out.
The funny thing about wedding planning is that the majority of the time brides are surprised by what they think they want and what they actually have chosen come wedding day.  The top 3 things on Lindsey’s wedding “must have” list?  Her dress (which was the most dreamy champagne color), amazing florals, and great props.  Lindsey originally thought she wanted yellow for her bridesmaids but ended up deciding on plum, and boy, are we so glad she did.  Her color of choice ended up being absolutely stunning.  In order to tie in a pop of spring, Lindsey chose to add splashes of lilac and peach throughout her floral arrangements.  HotHouse Design Studio, as always, did a fantastic job with their floral design.

When it came to Daniel’s fashion vision, he knew he MUST wear jeans, as a tuxedo had no place at their Rustic Chic, outdoor wedding.  Lucky for him, Lindsey agreed (as long as his jeans were “nice”, of course).  For Daniel and his groomsmen, Lindsey selected Lucky Brand jeans, Calvin Klein (who doesn’t love Calvin?) vests, and jackets from Men’s Warehouse. 

Lindsey chose the perfect cream invitation, incorporated a twine, monogrammed overlay, and sealed it within a natural colored envelope.  Fine Paperwork did a marvelous job helping set the stage for Lindsey and Daniel’s Rustic Chic wedding.

Lindsey and Daniel could not have chosen a more romantic spot to say “I Do”, as they chose J&D Farms Vintage Apple Orchard.  The best part?  Antique whitewashed pews.

One neat fact about our groom is he LOVES brownies and chose to have Magic Muffins bring in a whole heck of a lot of them in place of the “traditional” groom’s cake.

We are so grateful for what we do and for the couples that trust Becky’s Brides to celebrate with them on such an important day.  Lindsey and Daniel were a beautiful couple to work with, and it was an honor standing with them while their dreams came true.
