Real Wedding Series | Caycyn and Derek | A Timeless Wedding

Timeless. The one word that perfectly sums up the wedding of Becky’s Brides couple, Caycyn and Derek. Not a detail was missed, and one of the most amazing parts of this perfect American Village wedding was the honoring way Caycyn incorporated so much of who she is into every last detail. We are so excited to share this look back with you. We want to give a special thanks to David Boyd Photography for capturing every single moment exquisitely.
Meet Caycyn and Derek:

American Village in Montevallo, Alabama, was the perfect backdrop for a wedding that will forever be remembered as elegant, classic and all together beautiful. To begin the day, the wedding party was pampered on site where Caycyn spent a fun day with her closest friends and family preparing for the grandest day of her life. The day was all together amazing, and the weather could not have been more perfect.

Caycyn wore her mom’s 23-foot long, cathedral veil. In order to put her own heart into this stunning headpiece, the body was monogrammed with what would soon become her new set of initials.

Flowers from the Heart set the stage magically with every single floral element. Ivory and gold were the focal colors, and they were beautifully incorporated into every detail. Flowers have such an enchanting way of transforming an empty space, and every single stem was a beautiful avenue for creating the wedding of our precious couple’s dream.

We are so excited to share Caycyn’s cascading bouquet with you, which nearly touched the floor. Talk about absolutely stunning!

 
 
 
Set on having a wedding gown with beautiful long sleeves, Bella’s Bridal and Formal was  outstanding in making her dream a reality. Caycyn found the perfect gown, and Bella’s did their magic to make the custom changes that would be the absolute dream that Caycyn envisioned. We may be partial, but this bride was an absolute showstopper!

It was a packed house as friends and family from near and far watched Derek marry his dream girl.

Moving on to the reception, American Village has a grand ballroom that is to die for and everywhere you looked, elegance was in the details. The reception setup was everything wedding dreams are made of.

Magnificent cakes did a phenomenal job on this amazing seven layer bridal cake. The wedding topper was one of Caycyn and Derek’s wedding invitations and was such a unique and personal touch.

Talk about rolling out in style… Caycyn and Derek left their wedding in a stunning vintage corvette.
