August. A serene lake backdrop. A precious couple devoting their lives to each other under an iron scrolled arch adorned with beautiful splashes of neutrals and delicately highlighted with passionate shades of blush pink. Aldridge Gardens in Hoover, Alabama, a public botanical gardens known for it’s beautiful waters and horticulture, was the choice venue. Sweet Julep Photography was there to capture every cherished moment.

Kara and Josh, experienced an unanticipated career change mid planning that would ultimately move them to Phoenix, Arizona before their big day arrived. With details still to be determined, plans to be made, and their dream wedding hanging in the balance, Kara and Josh looked to Becky’s Brides to ensure they had the stress-free wedding they always dreamed of. And boy, was it a gorgeous one. Their special day could not have been more of a perfect fit for such an extraordinary couple.
Aldridge Gardens lake front ceremony site was the epitome of picturesque and a wonderful way for our sweet couple to say “I do”. Exquisite floral designs were provided by CeCe Designs.
After the ceremony, guests moved to the venue’s rustic pavilion which is surrounded by lush woodlands, organic nature, and beautiful green gardens. The couple provided lawn games to ensure there was something fun for everyone. Details were key in creating Kara and Josh’s perfect wedding day.
