Haley + Michael | Third Presbyterian + Regions Field | Becky’s Brides

When I first met Haley and her mom I knew that we were going to have the best time planning Haley’s wedding.  Haley is young, vibrant and completely full of joy.  Every day that we had a meeting scheduled, I woke up so excited to meet with her and her mom and work on all the fun things we were planning! Haley and Michael are high school sweethearts.  When they met on their first day of senior year, Haley decided that Michael was going to be her husband.  She actually started referring to him as her ‘future husband.’  Even though Michael didn’t refer to Haley as his future wife, he did muster up the courage to ask her out and they’ve been inseparable ever since. Michael describes Haley as an inherently joyful person, and we couldn’t agree with him more.  It was a honor to work with these two and celebrate with them as they joined their lives together as husband and wife.

We kicked off Haley and Michael’s wedding day at the historic Tutwiler Hotel for hair and make-up and a very special breakfast!  Haley’s parents arranged for the Heavenly Donut truck to come and bring breakfast for the bridesmaids and groomsmen.  What a fun and delicious way to start the day!

Haley and Michael had an incredibly emotional and special first look at the hotel – absolutely one of the sweetest I’ve ever seen.  When they first saw each other, they both teared up and Michael told Haley how beautiful she was.  After a few portraits at the Tutwiler, we headed around town on the trolley for some fun couple photos and wedding party photos.

Haley knew that she wanted to marry Michael in a special church with traditional elements such as stained glass windows and a center aisle.  Third Presbyterian Church was the perfect fit for this.  We watched as the church filled up completely with so many friends and family to support and celebrate Haley and Michael as they began their new life together.

After the ceremony was over, everyone headed to Regions Field to celebrate the new Mr. and Mrs!  Guests were greeted with beautiful fall colors, a 24 foot hanging floral installation, and one of my favorite things: a short film edited beautifully by The Film Poets for guests to see the first look and earlier moments of Haley and Michael’s wedding day! Guests enjoyed delicious food, drinks, desserts and a super fun photo booth.  Everyone danced the night away to amazing tunes preformed by Nationwide Coverage and we ended the night with celebratory fireworks!  The perfect end to the perfect day.

Esthetically, there were SO many beautiful elements to this wedding!  A few of my favorites were Haley’s absolutely stunning dress and veil, the beautiful escort card display table which featured a huge show stopping arrangement, the gorgeous drapery framing the entrance to the reception, and the amazing head table which featured a 24 foot floral ceiling installation and a complete floral runner encompassing the whole table.  Every element of this wedding day was incredibly beautiful and perfect.

 

Haley and Michael (and Mrs. and Mrs. Smith!), it was absolutely an honor to work with you on such a special and exciting day. You two are so blessed to have such wonderful examples of marriage in your lives.  Your love for each is evident to everyone who is around you, and we are absolutely certain that you will be celebrating with each other for the next 70 years.  We can’t thank you enough for letting us share this incredibly special day with you!
