Best of 2018 | Becky’s Brides

It’s hard to believe that 2018 has come and gone! We were so blessed to work with so many amazing couples as they planned their dream weddings and tied the knot. To celebrate such an incredible year, we’re hosting our annual ‘Best of 2018’ giveaway! Be sure to cast your vote for your favorite couple by “liking” their picture in our Facebook album, “Best of 2018”. The winning couple will receive the ultimate Birmingham date night package! This package includes a one night stay at the beautiful Tutwiler Hotel, a mini anniversary photo session with Deidre Ruth Photography and dinner at the delicious restaurant, Blueprint on 3rd. Paige and Joseph – March 10

If you love flowers, a good monogram and a gorgeous couple, then you would have loved to be at this wedding! We kicked off our year with Paige and Joseph and it could not have been a more perfect day. We loved every minute and every detail (including the 12 chandeliers that were installed at The Club)!

Clare and Trace – March 17

St. Patricks Day has never looked better! From surprise fireworks to surprise Irish dancers, this wedding was one for the books! We loved how Clare incorporated deep green and St. Patricks Day touches into her design. Their day was nothing short of beautiful and we wish we could relive this day all over again!

Allison and Jake – April 28

One thing we will always remember about Allison and Jake’s gorgeous Donnelly House wedding was the fact that there was not ONE photo taken without massive, happy smiles on both of their faces! These two were a dream to work with from start to finish. We especially loved the checkered black and white dance floor and her stunning wedding dress!

Jordan and Jeffry – April 28

This day couldn’t have been more picture perfect! From the gorgeous couple to the amazing weather, it was such a beautiful day from start to finish. Jordan and Jeffry said yes to forever at Hamilton House at Pursell Farms and it was such a celebration! We loved their sweet first look and all the attention to detail. It was without a doubt an amazing wedding day!

Erin and Joe – May 26

This precious couple had a fabulous wedding day with a beautiful (rain free!) ceremony at the Birmingham Botanical Gardens followed by the most fun reception at Iron City! These two were an absolute joy to work with and we loved seeing Erin’s vision come to life on her wedding day. One of our favorite moments? Watching Joe cry tears of absolute JOY watching his bride walk down the aisle. Priceless!

Olivia and Luis – May 26

This couple had the most beautiful May wedding full of stunning bold couples and lovely greenery! One of our favorite moments of the day was right after they got married and they were literally just grinning from ear to ear with excitement! Their wedding day is one we will cherish forever!

Carmen and Seth – June 16

Carmen and Seth were such a fun couple to work with, and their wedding day was nothing short of perfection!  Carmen is an interior designer, so there were stunning details and beautiful design elements EVERYWHERE!  With fabulous flowers and seven (!!!) greenery chandeliers adorning their reception space, this is absolutely one of our favorite Summer weddings ever!

Katie and Numair – June 23

On top of the city in Montgomery, Katie and Numair became husband and wife! They had a beautiful day full of friends and family! We loved Katie’s pink inspired color palette. Our absolutely favorite detail from Katie and Numair’s big day was that Katie wore a gorgeous blush gown and her bridesmaids wore white. So unique!

Amy and Andrew – June 30

This downtown Birmingham wedding was the perfect fit for Amy and Andrew! We loved working with them and sending Amy down the aisle on top of the beautiful Kress building. Guests were treated to some of the most gorgeous views of own favorite downtown skyline. These two were surrounded with so much love and we had a blast watching these two breeze into married life!

Ada and Jason – July 28

We always love when we get to visit beautiful Lake Guntersville and this time we got to go and celebrate the marriage of Ada and Jason! These two clearly adore each other so much and their wedding day was the perfect reflection of that. Their ceremony was heartfelt and absolutely beautiful overlooking the lake. Guests and wedding party alike packed the dance floor all night long with the new Mr. and Mrs!

Dani and Alex – August 4

One of the most JOYFUL couples ever – I mean – just look at those smiles!! Dani and Alex celebrated their wedding day in Cullman surrounded by their closest family and friends. From the super sweet ceremony to all the fun they had at their reception, this couple will go down in our books as one of the sweetest of all time! We absolutely loved being with these two on the happiest day of their lives!

Amanda and Brandon – August 24

Amanda and Brandon had a true fairytale wedding day! Her beautiful ball gown, the gorgeous bright colors and their fabulous venue all came together to make for the most perfect wedding. The weather was absolutely beautiful and their bridal party was so much fun. We loved spending the day with these two as they joyfully became husband and wife!

Marionne and Sheylan – September 15

These two high school sweethearts tied the knot on a PERFECT September day at Aldridge Gardens. The bright vibrant colors that Marionne incorporated were perfect for their wedding day! We also love that they included their sweet pup, Hazelnut, into some of their photos! They created amazing memories on their big day and we enjoyed every single second of it.

Anna Jo and Greg – September 29

AJ and Greg planned their wedding while they were working in Washington DC and New York City! It was so fun planning this whole wedding weekend for our sweet couple who wanted to come back to sweet home Alabama where Greg’s is from. We loved the vibrant purples and grays they chose to incorporate into their wedding design! We’ve truly never seen a bride smile SO much from start to finish on her wedding day!

Laura and Conan – October 7

This picture perfect day could not have been sweeter! With both sides of Laura and Conan’s family coming in from out town, this was definitely a celebration. Their main focus was to love on each and every person that came to be with them on the happiest day of their lives! They were truly a joy to be around and we loved every single moment from their big day.

Madison and Warren – October 20

Marsala and navy in the fall – it doesn’t get better than that! We had such a blast planning Madison and Warren’s wedding weekend from start to finish. Our favorite element? Their show-stopping cake display with blush draping to soften beautiful Regions Field. These two are so sweet together and we know their marriage is going to be as fabulous as their wedding day was!

Taylor and Chris – October 20

There’s nothing like planning a wedding at the bride’s home (well her parent’s home, that is).  It gives us such a special and unique place to dream up amazing ideas!  Taylor was all about the aesthetics and we LOVED seeing her beautiful blush wedding come to life.  It was the perfect Fall wedding for the sweetest couple!

Celeste and Ryan – October 27

This Southern girl moved all the way to Boston before finding her soulmate. We love that she brought him back to the South to become his wife!  With so many heartfelt moments, Celeste and Ryan had the sweetest wedding day.  Our favorite moment from their wedding day was taking Celeste to see Ryan for the first time!  Such a beautiful and special first look!

Annalisa and Chris – November 17

With Chris being in the military and finally getting to come home for their wedding, this day was truly a celebration in every way! Annalisa wanted a neutral wedding, with lots of greenery so that’s exactly what she got. We worked closely with Annalisa and her mom, Melody, to design a stunning wedding that was the perfect reflection of Chris and Annalisa! Oh, and let’s not forget their adorable pups – Violet and Luna!

Mary Catherine and Ryan – November 17

Mary Catherine and her mom both live out of town (not in the even in the same state!) so planning a wedding could have been challenging but they handled it liked champs!  The weather was perfect, the details were beautiful and Mary Catherine and Ryan were absolutely stunning!  We literally could not wipe the smiles off their faces as they became husband and wife.  We loved celebrating these two with a gorgeous Fall wedding at Park Crest!

Cynthia and Brian – December 31

We rang in the New Year with Cynthia and Brian and a TON of gorgeous florals!  We loved planning with Cynthia and Brian and their entire family!  Every planning meeting was fun and full of anticipation for their big day.  And their big day?!  What dreams are made of!  Our favorite part of their wedding day was seeing these two ring in the new year as husband and wife with all of their closest friends and family as confetti cannons went off to celebrate!

Kelly and Kevin – December 31

There’s nothing like a wedding on New Years Eve! Kelly and Kevin tied the knot at beautiful Regions Field and we were so happy to celebrate this sweet couple. From the gorgeous, large floral displays by our friends at HotHouse Design Studios to the firework show and confetti cannons at midnight, this sure was an amazing way to send off 2018 and celebrate all to come in 2019!
