What We’re Thankful For | Becky’s Brides

It’s been such an amazing year here at Becky’s Brides and we have SO much to be thankful for! From so many amazing weddings, to getting to know our sweet couples, to expanding families and so on; we are so incredibly blessed. We could go on and on listing all the things we’re thankful for, but we’ve decided to narrow it down to the #1 thing we’re both thankful for this year. Enjoy, friends!

The #1 thing Becky is thankful for this year is…

Lyla Elizabeth Baker.

2017 was one of the most trying years of my life, but 2018 has been a year of redemptive joy and I could not be more thankful.  This year we found out we were pregnant with a sweet baby girl.  For most people that is an exciting thing to find out – for us it brought a lot of fear and uncertainty. We had been down this road twice already and lost both of those babies.  But September 24th we welcomed the most beautiful, HEALTHY baby girl.  She is truly the light of our lives and has brought us an incredible amount of joy.  I couldn’t be more thankful for the precious gift that she is.

The #1 thing Taylor is thankful for this year is…

family. 

This year, I lost my dad to pancreatic cancer. I honestly don’t know what I would have done if I didn’t have my incredible family lifting me up in love and prayer. My amazing mom, sisters, brother-in-law, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins all rallied around me and have kept my spirits high throughout the year, even during the hardest parts. I’m unbelievably thankful for my incredible husband and his sweet family, who walked with us through the valleys ever since my dad’s diagnosis in late 2016. While it 2018 was without a doubt one of the most trying years of my life, I’m more thankful than ever for the family God has given me!

In addition to the wonderful blessing we have in our lives, we are thank for YOU!  Our sweet brides that we get to work with every weekend and our wonderful vendors who we get to partner with to make our brides’ dreams come true are the reason we both get to do what we love every single day.  You all are a tremendous blessing to us and we are so thankful for you!  Happy Thanksgiving!
