Your bridesmaids are your absolute best friends. They’ve been by your side through the entire wedding planning process. They’ll be by your side when you become a wife! These girls deserve something special to remind them just how important they are to you. Believe it or not, they’ve invested a lot of time and money into your wedding! Like a true southern belle, you or one of your family members will probably opt to host a bridesmaids luncheon in honor of your best girls. We want to help you plan something fabulous for those lucky ladies, so we’re sharing some tips on how to plan the perfect luncheon!
Find an amazing spot – Setting a relaxing and fun atmosphere starts with the location of your luncheon! Whether it be at a restaurant, a local event space or even at a spa, your girls will be thankful that you chose to love on them with a fun afternoon out!
Our recommendations: Studio Bham, The Changing Room, The Nest, The Gardens Cafe, Galley & Garden
Choose a tasty meal (and drinks!) – In order to make this luncheon, well a luncheon, there has to be some kind of food involved! You go either go the more traditional route with finger sandwiches, fruit and small desserts or you can go all out with a full meal! Either way, just make sure your maids are fed and happy!
Our recommendations (if not at a restaurant): Kathy G, Happy Catering, Savoie or chain restaurants that cater like Zoe’s or Taziki’s are both great options for finger foods!
Thank them – Your bridesmaids luncheon is the perfect opportunity to present your bridesmaids with their gifts. Whatever you choose to get your girls, be sure to add a personalized thank you note in each present. I’d also say this is a good time to stand up and give a little speech about how thankful you are for them!
