Over the last few years we’ve seen an increase in our clients wanting to select wedding venues where they can enjoy a full weekend experience with their guests. It allows couples to spend true quality time with friends and family throughout the weekend, and allows them to not feel rushed during the wedding reception trying to spend time with each of their guests. Your wedding weekend is a once in a lifetime experience, so we love the idea of our couples getting to spend a full weekend celebrating their marriage! The best way to do this is at a resort where you can host multiple events without your guests even needing to leave the property. Many time this means a destination wedding of some sort. The Ritz Carlton at Amelia Island | Amelia Island, FL 

The Ritz Carlton at Amelia Island is truly an incredible oasis for a destination wedding.  One of my favorite features of this property is the beautiful beachfront lawn that is the perfect setting for a wedding ceremony or reception.  The views simply cannot be beat!  In addition to the stunning outdoor options, The Ritz Carlton at Amelia Island also features beautiful indoor ballroom options as well.   In true Ritz Carlton fashion, the atmosphere, service, accommodations, and dining options here are simply hard to beat, making The Ritz Carlton at Amelia Island one of our favorite options for destination weddings!

Hamilton Place at Pursell Farms | Sylacauga, Alabama

If you’ve checked out any of our work, you know that Hamilton Place at Pursell Farms is one of our favorite destination wedding venues!  Located about an hour outside of Birmingham, Alabama, this venue is so easily accessible for guests coming from near and far.  In addition to the absolutely stunning indoor and outdoor options Hamilton Place offers for weddings, the resort also offers amazing dining options as well as fun activities to keep you and your guests entertained all weekend long without even having to leave the resort!  Guests can enjoy golf, relaxing at the spa, clay shooting, lounging at the pool and more.  There’s a reason why this is one of the most popular wedding destinations in the South! 

The Conservatory at Blackberry Ridge | Trenton, GA 

Have you dreamed of getting married at a European inspired venue but don’t want to ask your guests to travel overseas?  Introducing The Conservatory at Blackberry Ridge located right outside of Chattanooga, TN.  This stunning venue opening May 2024 is unlike no other in the South.  This venue features a beautiful conservatory and Italian inspired gardens.  The most beautiful backdrop for a dream wedding day.  While The Conservatory isn’t a “resort” it does feature onsite accommodations for many guests, additional venue options for hosting multiple events throughout the weekend, and superior service from the actual owners who are onsite all the time!

The Ritz-Carlton Reynolds, Lake Oconee 

The Ritz-Carlton Reynolds, Lake Oconee  offers a variety of indoor and outdoor venues perfect for ceremonies, receptions, and pre- and post-wedding events. Whether it’s a lakeside ceremony, a ballroom reception, or a garden party, they truly have it all!  During their downtime your guests can spend time at the lake, relax at their incredible spa, hang out at the beautiful pools, enjoy fabulous meals at their onsite dining options and so much more!  This resort is centrally located and super easy to get to from Atlanta in particular, making it an easy trip for your guests no matter where they are coming from.  It honestly almost hard to believe that such a stunning spot like this is located so close to the city, making it one of our favorite destination wedding options!

Watercolor Inn and Resort | Santa Rosa Beach, FL 

If the beach is more your vibe, WaterColor Inn and Resort is located along the stunning Emerald Coast and offers pristine white sand beaches, crystal-clear waters, and beautiful coastal landscapes, creating a picturesque backdrop for weddings. The resort provides a variety of indoor and outdoor venues perfect for ceremonies, receptions, and other wedding-related events.
