Real Wedding Series | Mindy and Phong

Want a magical way to start a life together? Get married at the gorgeous Bridgestreet Gallery and Loft in downtown Birmingham. Our sweet couple, Mindy and Phong, traveled all the way from Houston, Texas so Mindy could get married in the city where she grew up. We had such a wonderful time celebrating with this sweet couple, and we couldn’t wait to share their day with you. Thanks to Sweet Julep Photography, who captured every last detail perfectly. Here is this weeks edition of Becky’s Brides, Real Wedding Series.

Mindy and Phong’s wedding day began at the Westin, right in the heart of Birmingham’s up and coming city renovation project, Uptown. The great thing about Birmingham is there are so many great places to capture a couple’s beauty through photography, and it’s even better when the couple is as gorgeous as Mindy and Phong. We love the fun photos they will always have to remember their special day, and the sweet reminder of how beautiful Birmingham is.

Moving on to the reception; soft and elegant candlelight lit the way, and with navy and gray as the focal colors, Hothouse Design Studio beautifully splashed in pops of pink throughout the reception decor creating the perfect canvas for Mindy and Phong’s wedding celebration. Our friends at Savoie Catering presented an impeccable seated dinner. Anytime Savoie is on-site, we are beyond sure it will be a wonderful presentation and an even more wonderful taste! We adored the sweet  simplicity of Mindy’s bridal cake provided by the wonderful culinary artistry talent of Olexa’s Cakes. Thanks to Feel the Beat Entertainment bringing down the house, we learned that Mindy and Phong’s ring bearer may have the best “Whip Nae Nae” we have yet to see.

It was truly an honor to have a part in such a wonderful couple’s wedding celebration. Thank you, Mindy and Phong, for trusting Becky’s Brides with your special day.
