Real Wedding Series | Savannah and Clay | A Rustic Chic Inspired Wedding

Sometimes we have couples who get married, and we leave their wedding feeling like we are part of the family and softly grieve that our time with them has come to an end. This is exactly how we felt with Savannah and Clay. After almost a year of wedding planning with Savannah, her precious mom, and  sweet soon to be Mother-in-law,  we were so excited to see all the fabulous details of this beautiful wedding come to life.  Savannah walked down the aisle of her beautiful, rustic chic wedding at the perfect venue, Southwind Plantation, to the man of her dreams amongst hundreds of her closest family and friends, toting the most gorgeous bouquet of perfectly pink peonies. Husband and wife team, Eric and Jamie Photography, was on-site capturing every magical moment. We can’t wait another second for you to see every beautiful detail; so for this week’s edition of Becky’s Brides Real Wedding Series, Meet Savannah and Clay.

Savannah started her day with her closest friends (in the cutest floral robes) where they spent the morning primping and getting perfectly polished to prepare for the best day of her life, thus far. Our friends Tess and Cassandra with Rawwbeauty provided extraordinary hair and make-up services, and can we just say WOW?!? What a beauty our sweet bride was! Savannah had a floral watercolor theme that led the design path throughout every detail of her day. Our sweet bride had fabulous style that was highlighted in every last detail. Here are some of our favorite detail shots from the day.

Savannah and Clay had a sweet first look, not only with each other, but with their parents as well. Here is a peek into the first look with Savannah and her soon to be forever, Clay. Southwind Plantation is a gorgeous wedding venue constructed solely from trees that were destroyed in the 2011 Alabama tornadoes. We love that this venue is a testament that beauty can sometimes come in the wake of a tragedy.  This beautiful venue was the perfect backdrop for Savannah and Clay’s big day.

Hothouse Design Studio transformed the rustic barn and we are in LOVE with the head table design. Those garlands give us hearts in our eyes. Also, the venue’s bird bath was given a makeover  for Savannah’s big day. Talk about GORGEOUS! Magic Muffins created a scrumptious set of wedding cakes that were just as wonderful as they looked. Rob Conrad’s Classic Cars provided “Ruby,” a classic 1951 Packard. To close out a perfect wedding day, Savannah and Clay left to surprise fireworks by TNT Fireworks, full of Oohs and Ahhs.
