Lauren + Zach | Elevated Autumn Wedding at a Private Residence

When we first met Lauren and Zach, we knew their wedding day was going to be something truly special. Kind, gracious, and full of joy, they trusted us completely to bring their vision to life, and it was an honor to design a celebration that reflected both their love story and the beauty of Lauren’s family property, Five Oaks Duck Lodge in Humphrey, Arkansas.

From the beginning, our goal was to create a design that felt elevated, deeply personal, and perfectly aligned with the early fall setting. We curated a rich brown and green color palette inspired by October, allowing us to highlight the natural surroundings while adding layers of warmth and sophistication throughout the weekend.

Two sailcloth tents stretched across the family’s property, and we topped each with custom green flags that instantly set the tone for the celebration. Inside, four foot lanterns created a soft and inviting glow, while lush florals in earthy tones brought depth, texture, and a touch of autumnal romance to every corner. Every detail was chosen with intention to feel like an extension of the land the family holds so dear.

One of our favorite design moments was the charming duck motif woven throughout the wedding. This thoughtful nod to the family allowed us to share their story in a cohesive and meaningful way. From the invitation suite and embroidered aprons to the custom dance floor and even Zach’s personalized cummerbund, this sweet detail tied the entire celebration together beautifully.

We also created a dedicated margarita bar in honor of the mother of the bride. It added a lively and personal touch to the reception and quickly became a spot where guests gathered throughout the evening.

To bring in an element that felt uniquely “them,” we added a custom putting green that became an instant hit. Guests flowed between dancing, celebrating, and cheering each other on, creating an atmosphere that felt joyful, relaxed, and completely true to Lauren and Zach.

But beyond the beautiful details, what truly made the day extraordinary was the couple themselves. Their love, their kindness, and the way they cherished everyone around them set the tone for a celebration filled with warmth and happiness.
