Lauren + Clay | A Perfect Fall Wedding at Old Edwards Inn

Planning Lauren and Clay’s wedding was for sure one of the highlights of 2022! Lauren knew that she wanted a full weekend experience with her guests at a destination location and The Farm at Old Edwards Inn was the perfect fit. We are so honored that they took us along with them to plan this stunning Fall wedding! It was the absolute perfect day to close out our Fall wedding season.

Lauren is an only daughter and she and her dad have such a sweet and special bond. He was heavily involved in the wedding planning process and it was such a treat to have planning meetings with the whole family! While originally from the North, Lauren’s family knows what Southern hospitality means and guest experience was high up on their priority list. They kept the experience of their guests in mind with every single detail.

We kicked off the weekend with a stunning bridesmaids lunch (more to come on that later!), and then welcomed the wedding party and immediate family to a beautiful rehearsal dinner. After dinner Lauren’s family hosted a welcome party for all of their guests to mix and mingle before the big day. We are big fans of welcome parties so you can truly enjoy your guests’ company before the big day!

There were SO many details that we loved about Lauren and Clay’s big day and I’ll let the photos speak for themselves, but to name a few: the floral filled ceremony, the incredible signature drink welcome display, and the floral lined and champagne draped entrance all took my breath away. But what we loved more than all these incredible details was that we got to witness two incredible families coming together and celebrating Lauren and Clay’s marriage. This was a weekend I know these two will still be talking about 50 years from now.

Lauren and Clay (and Bill + Cindy), it was an absolute honor to spend a year planning this incredible weekend with you. Thank you so much for trusting us with such a special, special weekend in your family’s lives. We have no doubt that you two are going to do big things together in your marriage and we will be cheering you guys on for years to come! Cheers to the Dawkins!
