We always adore working with families on their daughter’s weddings. We were especially excited to work with Kim after working with her sister, Jennifer, last year! Kim called us right after she got engaged and we were so thrilled to be working with their sweet family again! Their love story started Iron Bowl weekend in 2014 with a quick browse on match.com. After exchanging several e-mails they met for drinks and appetizers in the popular Uptown district. They discussed some hot topics during their first date, and knew after that that they were probably a good match for each other. The rest was history!
Kim and Blair were married in July at Prince of Peace and had a fabulous reception at LincPoint. Kim is organized, decisive, and knew exactly what she wanted when we started planning her wedding. She wanted a classic and traditional wedding with light gray and pops of pastel pinks and blues. We loved the beautiful details captured perfectly by
Eric and Jamie Photography!
Kim and her maids were so much fun to be around! They enjoyed the day together and got pampered by
Rawwbeauty. It was really special for us to watch Kim’s sister Jennifer be such a fabulous matron of honor, after Kim had just done the same for her one short year ago.
We love these shots of the final touches before seeing one another for the first time!
Kim could not have been more radiant on her big day! We loved her gorgeous bridal bouquet by
HotHouse.
Kim and Blair had their first look at Ross Bridge and their happiness was contagious! In true Alabama style, it was almost unbearably hot. But the weather didn’t phase these two!
The bridal party was stunning! We loved the colors that Kim used to tie into her overall vision for her wedding day. The light grays and pastel colored flowers were perfect for a hot July wedding.
The reception took place at LincPoint and we love how elegant and classic the atmosphere turned out! She loved the ribbon walls from HotHouse and had one for the backdrop of her cake and also for a photo backdrop for her wedding guests to take Polaroid photos with for her guest book. One of our favorite details of their reception was the special appearance of Big Spoon Creamery. We loved the mini ice cream sandwiches they served. It was the perfect Summertime treat for Kim and Blair’s guests! Kim and Blair ended their beautiful day by heading off in a gorgeous vintage car provided by Coats Classic Cars!
