We LOVE when we get to work with our brides on their wedding AND their rehearsal dinner. It’s a great way for us to be sure to make the entire wedding weekend is cohesive and to make sure that our brides’ guests have an amazing guest experience from start to finish.
Hillary and Ben’s guests were coming in from all over the country and they had a pretty lengthy out of town guest list – therefore their rehearsal dinner was fairly large. We wanted their rehearsal dinner to be cohesive with their wedding day, but not at all the same. Hillary envisioned lots of greenery and lots of color for her wedding day. So we carried the greenery throughout her rehearsal dinner, but saved all the color for her wedding day. We accented the greenery and ivory tones with wood for a rustic nod, without being too overly rustic.
Avon Theatre was the perfect location for Hillary and Ben’s rehearsal dinner. Large enough to accommodate their guest list, but with a great blank canvas for us to work with aesthetically, it couldn’t have been a more perfect location. Guests entered Avon through a beautifully draped entrance, and were greeted with delicious passed hors d’oeuvres from Kathy G and a full stocked bar. After some mixing and mingling, guests sat down for a delicious Southern meal.
The rehearsal dinner was such a special evening celebrating our bride and groom. Aesthetically, my favorite part was the gorgeous 6 foot greenery wreath that graced the stage behind the head table. My other favorite part was the incredibly sweet and heartfelt toasts that Ben and Hillary’s family gave. These two have such kind hearts, and you can absolutely tell that their friends and family love them tremendously.
