Charlotte + Benjamin | A Fall Wedding at Pursell Farms

Charlotte and Benjamin have one of the (almost) unbelievable love stories I’ve ever heard.  They both ride horses and both ended up at the same horse show in Nashville.  Him from Birmingham, Alabama and her from Australia.  They hit it off at this show and Charlotte never went back.  She moved to Birmingham to be with Benjamin and the rest was history!

We were so excited to be able to work with Charlotte on her big day!  In addition to listening to her amazing Australian accent, she has incredible style.  She had a vision for her big day and made it so easy for her vendor team to pull together her design.  With a love of neutrals, mauve, blush and gold accents, I was IN LOVE with her color palette.  We incorporated a few wood accents into her design as a nod to their love of horses as well as a beautiful custom signature drink display perfectly designed by Crystal from Southern Posies.  One of my favorite design elements was the incredible backdrop for the wedding cake and the stunning hand painted wedding cake itself!  Charlotte wanted an incredible backdrop and this one definitely delivered!

Charlotte and Benjamin’s wedding day was definitely not short on laughter and tears of joy!  Some of my favorite moments of the day was when Benjamin saw Charlotte walk down the aisle to him for the first time, the way that Charlotte’s brother and Benjamin’s friends cared about our beautiful bride, and the incredible funny and heartfelt toasts that we heard all night long.  It was a day we will never ever forget!

Charlotte, it was an absolute dream planning your big day with you!  Thank you so much for trusting us with such an incredibly important day in your life.  We are wishing you all the love and happiness in the world and are cheering you and Benjamin on as you navigate your new life together!  We love you guys!
