Celebrating 10 Years of Marriage | A Vow Renewal at Pursell Farms

On this day 10 years ago I married my sweet husband.  The weather was perfect, we were surrounded by our closest friends and family, and we promised to love each other in sickness and in health, for richer or for poorer to death till us part.  We promised to support each other’s dreams and to always choose each other, every single day.  To this day, it was still the best day of my life.

Over the last 10 years we’ve learned the true meaning of for better or worse.  As the years go by, I have started to truly understand what an incredible gift my marriage is.  My husband loves me even when I am unloveable.  He makes me feel safe. He supports me as a wife, mother, and business owner.  He is patient.  He is kind. He is the most incredible father.  Oh, and he’s gorgeous.  😉

Ten years of marriages feels like an incredible accomplishment, especially these days.  We LOVE being married and try to celebrate our marriage often.  But for 10 years, we wanted to do something really special.  With the help of some incredible vendor friends, we were able to privately renew our vows at the beautiful Pursell Farms.  We promised to learn from our mistakes, and to keep choosing each other every single day for the next 10 years and beyond.  And then we ate cake and popped some bubbly!  It was such a beautiful and special day.

Jerard, it is my greatest honor in this life to be your wife.  I am so thankful for you and for our marriage, and I promise to cherish it every single day for the rest of my life. I can’t wait to see where the next 10 years takes us!
