Birmingham Date Night: The Pizitz Food Hall + Railroad Park

I’m excited to share another #BhamDateNight with you!  We’ll call this Birmingham Date Night, Day Edition.  😉 The weather in Birmingham has been beautiful this month, so for our March date we definitely wanted to take advantage of that.  I’ve said it before, but Birmingham has just grown so much and I’m always so amazed at the awesome stuff our city has to offer.  We love venturing downtown to explore all the cool-ness!

The new Pizitz Food Hall just opened recently, so we wanted to go check that out.  It’s such a neat local space that offers several different casual eateries as well as a bar and ice cream.  Anyone that knows me know that I love a good drink and ice cream (not together!), so that is definitely appealing.  Plus the architecture of the building is really cool, and it’s centrally located.  Only 1/4 mile away from Railroad Park! We enjoyed a late lunch (J had chicken and waffles and I had Eli’s).  They have a lot of indoor seating, but my favorite part is the cute courtyard area that you can sit and enjoy lunch.

We capped off the afternoon with a delicious ice cream cone and a stroll through Railroad Park.  We love Railroad Park!  It’s such a great place to come and walk/run, picnic, bring the pups, toss a football, or ride bikes.  Perfect for these gorgeous Spring days in Birmingham!

It was such a fun, casual date and the perfect way to kick off Spring in Birmingham!
