Don’t forget music! Some options include a string trio or quartet to play nice background music throughout cocktail hour, a DJ or band to play some low-key jazz music or some venues offer light music over their speaker system. It doesn’t matter what you choose, just be sure to give your guests something entertaining to listen to!
A signature drink (or drinks!) is a fun way to add a little bit of flair to your cocktail hour and a great way to give your guests something fun to sip on! Pick an accent color and ask your bartender to give you some delicious suggestions. Be sure to include your groom’s favorite drink as well!
Don’t be so focused on cocktails that you forget about non-alcoholic beverages! You’ll have several guests that are either underage or simply don’t want a cocktail. Be sure to provide water, tea, or sodas during cocktail hour to accommodate all your guests!
Add a personalized touch to your cocktail hour. It’s your wedding, have fun with it! We love fun bar signage, custom cocktail napkins and koozies! There so many unique ways to incorporate your personalities into a fun cocktail hour.
