Lara + Michael | Elegant Swan House Wedding

There is truly nothing more humbling as a wedding planner than being invited to work with a family multiple times. In 2019 I got to work with Lara’s brother on his wedding and it was a true honor to be able to work with this family again. Lara and Michael live in Atlanta and after touring several venues they decided that the Swan House at The Atlanta History Center was where they wanted to celebrate their marriage…a bucket list venue for me! This venue is seriously out of this world beautiful, and was the perfect backdrop for a gorgeous wedding ceremony.

Planning with Lara and Michael and her family was so much fun! They wanted a timeless design, were decisive, and just a joy to be around. The wedding day was absolute perfection. The weather was what dreams are made of, the details were incredible, and the day was full of so much love and joy. A few of my favorite details were the beautiful watercolor save the dates of the stunning venue, the incredible ceremony backdrop that is the Swan House, and the entire ballroom full of classic flowers and details. At the end of the evening Lara and Michael shared a private dance as their guests lined up for the exit. It was so sweet and special to watch. They got to take it in one last time that they were married and celebrate together about how perfect their day was. For sure one of the most special moments of the day and the perfect way to close out the night.

Lara and Michael (and family!), I can’t even describe how much I loved working with you on your incredible wedding. It is truly a day I will cherish forever. I have no doubt that you two will do amazing things in life together and I’m cheering you on always. Thank you, thank you for allowing us to work with you during such a special season of life!
