Becky's Brides is a Birmingham, Alabama based wedding planning studio creating joyful weddings full of Southern hospitality. Thanks for stopping by.
For many, college is an avenue to discover what the future holds. The path to a life-changing career, or for some, learning what career you don’t want to have. College can be the place where you find out who you really are, or who you’re not. For some, like our sweet couple Kacie and David, college (Auburn University to be exact. WAR EAGLE!) was the avenue to true love. After crushing on Kacie for well over a year, David mustered up the courage to ask her out, and the rest is history. Becky’s Brides traveled to Atlanta, Georgia, to send this fun-loving couple down the aisle for their eco-chic wedding. Bethany Legg Photography captured the day perfectly, and we couldn’t be more excited to share Kacie and David’s wedding day with you.
Meet Kacie and David:
Kacie and David started their day off at The Glenn Hotel in downtown Atlanta. From a beautiful rooftop first look to drinks and a whole lot of friends, Kacie and David’s day couldn’t be more perfect.
Atlanta has some amazingly eclectic places, and Kacie wanted to make sure some of her favorite places were part of her wedding day memories. First on the list of places to stop: The Jackson Street Bridge.
Next up on our travels to “I do”: The Krog Street Tunnel. Fun fact: The Krog Street Tunnel is directly across from a bar Kacie’s father owns.
Fun fact: Former Becky’s Brides bride, Megan, is one of Kacie’s besties, and this was our second time celebrating a day of love with Kacie. This past wedding led to Kacie so graciously asking us to be by her side on her journey to “I do.”
We ended our travels (in which we partied to each spot on a bright red party bus) at The Solarium in Decatur, Georgia. The Solarium was a gorgeous venue full of old-world charm that radiated every ounce of perfection which would fill the dreams that Kacie so vividly dreamed her wedding day would be. With an amazing team of vendors, this blank canvas quickly became a beautiful masterpiece for our couple.
Kacie envisioned greenery adorned with the eco-chic beauty of succulents and air plants. No wedding is complete without amazing details. So here is a a deeper look into the phenomenal details of Kacie and David’s eco-chic wedding day.
If you know anything about SEC football or Auburn University, you would know that the trees on Toomer’s Corner are made for being rolled… with TP! Kacie and David, in true Auburn University form, were wished farewell with a shower of toilet paper. It couldn’t have been a more fun grand exit.
Thank you, Kacie and David, for letting Becky’s Brides celebrate with you! We wish you all the happiness in the world!
